Centre awards

To be eligible for any Centre trophy awarded at the end of the season, an athlete must have competed in at least 50% of events offered by the centre for the whole season. Exceptions to be determined by a Centre Executive. Families with exceptional circumstances must notify the Committee in writing.

The Geoff Watt Memorial Trophy

Awarded annually to an Under 12 boy and girl. This is based on the points achieved throughout the season, during normal Saturday competition, plus, the athletes attitude towards their fellow competitors.

The Drouin Community Bank Achievement & Recognition Award

This trophy is awarded annually to an older aged athlete who stands out in ability, attitude and attendance.

President’s Award

An (boy and girl) athlete's chosen by the current President on how much they enjoy and participate in athletics.

Mrs Mac Award

These are awarded to an (boy and girl) athlete who are competing in Little Athletics in their first season. It is not awarded for the best athlete, but to an athlete who enjoys competing and always tries their best.

The Griffin Family Award

This trophy is awarded to an (boy and a girl) athlete who have shown outstanding dedication and commitment to Little Athletics; through their regular attendance and full participation in all available events.

Overall Most Improved Award

The trophy is awarded to the boy and girl in the 9-16 age groups who earns the most Personal Bests (PBs) over the entire season. They are also awarded the perpetual shield.
