Broken Glass
All parents must ensure that their children have shoes on at all times whilst at the track. In this public park, broken glass is often on the ground.
Lost Property
Lost property should be handed in at the canteen. At the end of the season, unclaimed lost property will be donated to a community opportunity shop. Please mark your child’s name on all clothing.
Canteen
The Centre canteen raises funds to keep registration fees down.
Volunteers are needed for the canteen.
It is important that wrappers and other rubbish are placed securely in the bins.
Wet Weather
Listen to STAR FM 94.3 (or 97.9 ) or 3GG AM 531 between 7.30am and 8.30am on wet Saturday mornings, to be advised about whether the athletics program is going ahead. If it starts to rain during the morning, Team Managers are directed to seek shelter for athletes during showers. Parents should provide coats to keep athletes warm and dry. In this situation the Committee will announce a postponement for 15 minutes after which events will recommence or the program will be abandoned.
Performance Tickets
At the end of the last event the Team Manager will hand out field event performance tickets for the day, and track performance tickets from the previous week. Star stickers will be put on Personal Best (PB) results. The performance tickets can be glued into the personal record book which was received at registration.
Fund Raising
Fundraising has always been an important part of Little Athletics- all money raised goes towards supplying equipment for weekly competition and also for trophies and medals for the athletes.
A fundraising levy is incorporated into the fees.
Water
Please ensure that all children bring along a drink of water each week. Water intake is very important to our athletes especially during the warmer weather.
Hats and Sunscreen
Please ensure that all children have hats and sunscreen, as there is limited shade for the children when they are waiting to start an event.
Volunteer Roster
To operate the program we need all parents to volunteer each week for one of the jobs listed below
1 to 2 Starters
5 to 6 Timers
1 to 2 Canteen Assistance
1 to 2 Recorders
14 Team Managers
14 Team Manager Assistants

Teach children that participation is as important as victory.
